Our sound
We blend bold Bavarian oom-pah with the electric soul of New Orleans street bands, then add pop favorites, polkas, marches, and party anthems that get a crowd involved.
MEET THE BAND
Not your average
brass band.
Founded by Army musician and music educator Adam Lyon, The Oompa Meisters bring Bavarian tradition and New Orleans brass to celebrations across New England and New York.

Our lineup
Our flexible 4–8 musician lineup is built from professional musicians and educators. We scale the group to fit a parade route, beer garden, wedding tent, town green, or major festival.
Our mission
We create paid performance opportunities for veterans and use music to strengthen community, honor service, and bring people together. Service doesn’t end when the music starts.
